Sinner or Saint? Do You Follow These Ten Dating App Commandments?

The convenience of modern dating means that we can approach dating without even leaving the house (perfect for Pandemic-era dating). Swiping left or right on our phones means that we can review potential dates with a catalogue mentality. The shallowness of online dating is tempered by our desire to connect with other human beings which is almost sweet enough to make the whole process of online dating slightly less gross.

That being said, it’s difficult not to become annoyed by the process and the redundancy of some profiles. Because I am a cis-gender woman dating men, most of these are geared toward men and some of them explicitly refer to gender, but I want to emphasize that men are not the only sinners here, so feel free to wear gender neutral shades when reviewing the following.
